Lakeville, Conn. (July 6, 2013)–David Ostella drove his way to a fourth place finish at the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) Northeast Grand Prix in GTC class action this afternoon.

Starting from the back of the pack, Ostella drove the first few stints before spinning into Turn 1.

“We struggled a little with the car in qualifying and started last,” Ostella said. “I made a mistake going into Turn 1 and ended up spinning. I got the car back on track and pitted and then Craig [Stanton] jumped in and ended up getting the car back up to fourth.”

At the end of the day Ostella is thankful for the opportunity that The Racer’s Group (TRG) provided.

“It was great being here,” he said. “It was a good experience and I’m glad we were able to do it. I have to thank TRG and all the crew for their hard work and for giving me the opportunity to race this weekend and to be able to contribute to the team. I was able to race alongside a great driver and brought the car home in fourth.”

Ostella will be back in action on July 19-21 for the 2013 Grand Prix of Mosport, where he will look to build on his points lead in the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin Series.
